Dine Out Vancouver gives locals and visitors the opportunity to have dinners in Vancouver’s restaurants, from fine dining to family-friendly and everything in between. As a delicious bonus, many participating restaurants also offer special lunch menus.
A group of food and wine enthusiasts joined the Vancouver Tourism team back in 2002 and came up with the idea of a price-fixed menu deal to get Vancouverites out and into restaurants during a normally slow time of year. Fifty-seven restaurants jumped on board, and from that stellar yet humble beginning, the Dine Out Vancouver Festival has become Canada’s largest food and drink festival.

1. Bacchus at the Wedgewood – Highly-rated French restaurant in the luxurious Wedgewood Hotel at 845 Hornby Street. Their Dine Out Vancouver Festival menu is $45 and includes smoked steelhead salmon, roasted veal, or smoked mushroom and vegetarian lentil cassoulet.
2. Copper Chimney Indian Grill & Bar – A very nice and popular East Indian establishment in the Executive Hotel Le Soleil at 567 Hornby Street. 5. Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant – Located around the corner of Gastown, one floor from the Vancouver Lookout Harbour Centre, 555 West Hastings Street. This year’s $45 dinner menu includes barbecued pork ribs, New York steak, Arctic char or roasted duck breast.

1. Bridges Restaurant – A lovely pub-style restaurant on Granville Island, 1696 Duranleau Street, with a fabulous patio, overlooking False Creek and the Vancouver skyline. You can also get wild salmon, Creole chicken breast, ravioli, or sirloin steak at the same place upstairs for $45.

3. Dockside Restaurant – A casual fine dining establishment on 1253 Johnston Street on Granville Island. Their 3-course Dine Out Vancouver menu options cost $35. 2020 Menu options include spaghetti with clams, Arctic char, or short ribs of beef.
4. Romer’s Restaurant – Located at 8683 Kerr Street, by the Neighbourhood Centre, in the River District of Vancouver, the popular casual restaurant offers a choice of 10 oz. NY peppercorn steak, fettuccine Alfredo, ahi tuna or lobster hamburger for $35 plus starter and dessert.
5. Seasons in the Park – The stylish restaurant at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park has $35 lunch and dinner options, including a selection of NY Striploin Steak, Grilled Salmon or Mushroom Ravioli.
